Future901 Endorses Caroline Miller: Mayor of Bolivar Candidate
Future901 is excited to announce the endorsement of Caroline Miller for Mayor of Bolivar. Read her bio below:
Caroline Miller was born and raised in Bolivar, the daughter of small business owners and a civil rights activist. Her grandparents pioneered the BOLIVAR African American schools for over forty years.
After graduating from Central High School in 1989, she moved to Memphis to attend Memphis State. In 1999 she returned home to take care of her aging family and raise her children. After the loss of her parents and grandparents she and her three children moved to Martha's Vineyard, MA for ten years. While living there she worked in Hospitality, Education and PR/TV/Events.
Once her twins graduated from high school she and her husband decided to return to Bolivar. For the past two years they have been working to restore the home she inherited and she began attending local school board, city council and county commission meetings and was inspired to run for Mayor after seeing how the needs of the marginalized citizens of BOLIVAR and Hardeman County were not being addressed.
"Being the daughter of Lois Bernice Miller, I could not move back home and not get active to help the people of my Community. I watched my mother work so hard her entire life to fight for the same things that we still lack in this town. It's time for some real change...and I have the passion, desire, intelligence, maturity and audacity to make it happen! I promise to work tirelessly everyday to make A Better BOLIVAR... for EVERYBODY."
Caroline Miller-Wells is married to Dominick Wells and the mother of Nicholas and Lauryn Bond (22 year-old twins) and Myles McNeal (18).
